John joined Monty in May 1995 and was an excellent Social & Pennant bowler playing over 400 pennant games.
John also skipped many winning tournament games – particularly Monty Easter Mixed Fours.
He played bowls at many of our neighboring clubs and was well respected by all that played against him and was a great representative of our Club.
He was also a great contributor to the administration of our Club.
Club President 2001-02 & 2002-03.
Also, Social Bowls Manager for many years followed by Sponsorship Officer.
John will be sadly missed both on and off the Greens.
