Our Australia Day Social Bowl is CANCELLED as a result of the Department of Health issuing a “heat health alert” due to ongoing extreme temperatures.
This alert applies to Wednesday 26th January for Central local government areas including Banyule.
From their website –
“When the heat health temperature threshold is reached in a specific weather forecast district, the department issues a heat health alert.”
Also – Hospitals are on Code Brown or Red and it’s unlikely to get an ambulance .. as we know!
