This is a fantastic amount and far exceeded all our best estimates.
A little extra in green fees, a raffle & generous cash donations all helped in achieving this amount.
The auction raised $6230 plus, thanks to the generous donation of goods from Members, Businesses & Sponsors.
The organisation of this event has taken many months and a special thanks to Barry Lay, Geoff Blandfort, Nola Kruize, Neil Greenwood & Di Schliebs. (and anyone I have missed)
Also thanks to those who worked behind the scene in the kitchen, in the Bar, Greens and all the other duties.
Just FANTASTIC!
There was a games of Bowls with the winner Jeff Lander’s rink, Runner up Noel Spargo (Eltham).
The most outstanding aspect of the bowls was a prize for a RESTING TOUCHER.
Lookout Australian Squad because we had 15. thats not a typo – 15 RESTING TOUCHERS! ??
